Our Team
Westarctica, Inc. is managed by a small executive team with more than 30 dedicated volunteer representatives operating in 17 countries around the world. Our organization's activities and strategic vision are goverened by a board of directors.
Travis McHenry
Executive Director, CEO
After a four-year hiatus, Travis returned to the role of Executive Director in February 2025. He founded Westarctica in 2001 and led it through the process of incorporation in 2014 and finally to non-profit status in 2018.
Under his leadership, Westarctica has expanded its presence to more than a dozen countries around the world while consistently undertaking new initiatives related to the organization's charitable goals.
Brendan Cook
Deputy Executive Director, COO
Brendan Cook joined Westarctica in March 2020 and began working with our executive team shortly after. In November 2021, he became director of member affairs. He was elected to the post of Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer in February 2022 and was brought onto our Board of Directors in March 2022.
Jordan Farmer
Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer
Jordan joined Westarctica's executive team in 2018 as our Membership Director and was subsequently invited to join our board of directors after assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer. He has comprehensive knowledge of non-profit fundraising and financial management and has worked with Native American tribes in the Midwestern United States.
